2022 Signature Verification

Pension Recipient Verification forms were mailed on April 8, 2022. Forms must be returned to the Human Resources and Labor Relations Department no later than Friday, May 13, 2022.

After June 13, 2022, if you would like confirmation that your form has been received, please email a request to Retirement Services,


Retirement Board

The Retirement Board directs the operation of the Retirement System for County employees. The County's representatives on the Retirement Board, per the Charter, shall be a representative from the Executive's Office, a representative from the Treasurer's Office, a representative from the County Board of Commissioners, a representative from the Department of Roads and three elected, active employees.

Retirement Services

Retirement Services assist employees, retirees and beneficiaries of Macomb County’s Employee Retirement System (MCERS) regarding applying for retirement/DROP, monthly pension, pension estimates, reporting deaths, EDRO (Eligible Domestic Relations Order), Vanguard Deferred Compensation, processes tax changes, processes address changes and beneficiary changes for pension contributions.
